Liscop LC A7 Blade Clippers & Blades » Large Clipper Blades Cutter: 19 teeth Comb: 21teeth Cutting depth: 3mm Formally known as the Lia7 (Coarse cattle blade) this is now packaged as the LC A 7 blade Whilst strictly a coarse blade set for dirty cattle, the Li-A 7s blade is often popular with horse owners for a coarser coated clip and is considered very good on many leg "feathers." Clipping into the hair and with a slight upward angle of the clipper head, this blade with leave around 3 mm of uncut hair. Cattle owners find the blade good for clipping out the backs of cattle in late autumn before yarding or winter housing. Those who want a longer length of hair on horse's "feathers" should use a barber's comb and comb out the hair before clipping across the comb blade. These machines all require the following any of the following blades: Liscop LC102/LC122/253/LC106 and A107 coarse and extra coarse. Liscop Lia2, Lia6, Lia22 and Lia7 blades will fit certain Wolseley Clippers (as listed above.) and Wolseley blades will fit certain Liscop machines - again as listed, this is machines where the head mechanism has a traditional "tension nut, spring and bolt, to secure the blades to the clipper head. They will NOT fit the newer model LISCOP/LIVERYMAN & WOLSELY machines as listed above, where head is different and the lower blade is secured by two screw in type nuts. "Liveryman" blades are the same as Liscop. Liveryman is a brand name, and invariably involves a Liscop machine. It is advisable to keep blades as "married couples for sharpening purposes."
